I have Hypothyroidism and will be joining TiT and running?

TiT (team in training) to help me lose weight (I am currently 50 lbs overweight thanks to hypothyroidism). So I would begin running/walking to train for a marathon. My medication is still being adjusted and has been for the past year and half, but I am certainly better now than before. I know that with hypothyroidism, weight loss is more difficult and slow. My question is, how soon can I expect to lose weight? I'm not counting the first week because I always lose 5 lbs the first week then platau or gain it back. (its water weight anyway) but i was curious to know how fast I will see a difference. I would love to especially hear from people who lost weight by running.

If you stick to it it will stay off.
