Can you get Hypothermia if?

its getting to be about 40-30 degrees in my neighborhood and i was planning to go jog near the river...i was planning on wearing a sauna suit under a jacket and some sweats so that i would be able to sweat a little bit more...i want to know if i can get hypothermia doing this or is it dangerous...i was planning on losing about 10 pounds for christmas w/ a diet of course..

what do you think...?

Probably not, unless you have medical problems or are particularly old. If you start feeling really cold go home.

Sweating is usually not a problem unless the temperature is rediculously below freezing because then it freezes on your skin and all that good stuff. So you should be absolutely fine. Most situations of hypothermia usually occurs when someone is in water because water is much dense than air + thermodynamics but we wont get into that.

You probably won't get hypothermia unless you STOP running and you have that sweat on your skin, because it won't have anywhere to evaporate to.

But - it's not going to help anything, you'll just sweat (water, salt, potassium, etc.), you won't be excreting fat through your pores or getting a better workout from it. You are better off wearing some nice sweats and tights underneath them to keep warm, but not slow down your workout. Get a BETTER run in, not just more sweat/water loss.
