hypothermia is when you are in extreme cold temperature from being out doors or in extremely cold water.if it gets bad enough you can die.

Hypothermia is when your body is exposed to extreme cold. Your body tempurature drops and it can be fatal if you stay in a certain state of hypothermia for too long.

Usually when you have it, you have hallucinations.
You get it from freezing water, and many other cold areas.

hypothermia is where ur boddy tempertaure drops below normal body temperature ane send ur body in to shut down. ur brain sends messages to send the blood to mager organs to protect them. it is life threatening.

When the temperature of your body core (basically your torso) drops below its normal temperature (37C or 98F), that's hypothermia.

This is NOT the same as frostbite, which can freeze the limb, but can occur without hypothermia. Similarly, it's possible to suffer hypothermia without any frostbite.

The easiest way to get it is by swimming in a cold water for few minutes. Cold water can "suck out" your body heat very quickly. Cold air can do it too, but it takes much longer time, perhaps as long as a couple of days, depending on the temperature.
