Someone died of drinking to much water in a contest how can drinking to much water kill you and how does it?

in a contest a women drank to much water and died she said she had headache and felt pregnant what does it do to you healthwise to kill her im mean do thier blood vessels burst?or could it be hypothermia

Water intoxication

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_intox...

she drank it in a short period of time without urinating it out. so that caused her to almost drown type of thing.

The woman died of water intoxication.

(Sorry, tone land, apparently, we did this at the same time.)

osmosis

The water causes your brain to swell if you drink too much too quickly........entirely possible. There are multiple cases of this kind of death out there.

she might have put a hole in her stomach... if she drank more than eight glasses of water that day then she might have done something to her body in that way...

guess they drowned themselve, too much fluid for the body to hold.
terrible thing to happen on this planet, catch to them
contests

This may seem fake but if you have way to much fluid at one short time then you actuily drown from the inside.

You can die of drinking too much water, I think like 13 gallons, When you drink so much water your salt levels get off balance (needed for osmosis) and osmosis can't continue, so you body basicly can't continue to function and you die.
