Does tilt table or orthostatic training cure....??? Help please? |
i heard about tilt training for orthostatic hypotension and i was wondering if it cures the orthostatic hypotension? if it doesnt then what does? im 14 years old and ive got orthostatic hypotension. also i get lightheaded when its hot...is this from orthostatic hypotension? anything to help it?? This could well be a manifestation of adrenal malfunction. Fluodrocortisone is specific for this as well as hydrocortisone, but you need to be thoroughly tested with a stimulation test to see if you are underproducing these hormones. Fluodrocortisone in particular raises blood pressure and thus corrects the hypotension. But please go to a qualified endrocrinologist. Good luck. |
