I have a heart condition and am getting severe panic attacks... Any correlation... Severity...?

I was recently diagnosed with Neurocardiogenic Syncope. I understand all about the condition and have been on medication for it for a year. I haven't had fainting spells as often as before, but I have recently started having what I think are panic attacks.

I shake all over- I can barely stand because my legs become so weak. It feels like I have wires going through my body that are sparking or something. My heartbeat skyrockets (I also have pretty severe hypotension, so my heartbeat becoming fast is very rare). My breathing becomes very difficult. Headaches; poor vision... etc.

I don't know what these attacks are, but they feel like random panic attacks to me.... could that be it? Does it have anything to do with my heart condition already? Should I seek help when they happen- they seem to be occurring a dozen times a day. I just got over one a few minutes ago and feel like another could come at any moment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated... I'm just concerned.

Wow honey, you need to go to the doctor's. I know they're probably closed, but there's always an ER you can go to.

I know you probably don't think it's that serious. You're smart- if you thought it was, you would have gone already. That's why you came here first. But, this probably is serious.

Go ahead and go. If you think it can wait, go in the morning. But, if you get an attack, have someone take you. Don't drive yourself.

It'll be okay, though. Don't worry. :o) I probably would have wanted someone else's opinion and asked, too.

wow, you know this type of quesiton is really something you should be phoning your doctor/physician about. you can get false answers from people at yahoo!answers so when your health is concerned you should seek professional help. just puttin it out there so you know.

get your *** to the hospital and tell them whats up!!! they will get your doctor
