How can I prevent fainting while on roller coasters? |
I'm 12 and I have orthostatic hypotension disorder. Just like a regular I want to be able to ride rides at amusement parks ecspicially roller coasters. But whenever I do I always pass out. I'll give you an example. I was at the Justin Timberlake concert and I was jumping up and down and suddenly I felt nasusea and I passed out and they couldn't wake me up and they had to get paramedics and stuff and it was so embarrassing. I just want some kind of treatment because I'm going to Disney World in a month. Please help! OK! Calm down! You don't have to fell embarrassed! And wear a pair of earplugs and you will be fine! What causes you to pass out is the blood rushing into your head! So if you can't find earplugs, avoid roller-coasters that go upside down! Hope I helped! Sounds like you might, and I say, might, have motion sickness of some kind.... Unless you can get your orthostatic hypotension under control, I wouldn't suggest roller coasters. I understand you want to ride them, but it wouldn't really be safe. Have you been to a neurologist? Have they ever had you try elastic hose or anything? close ur eyes and wonder as if u r flying in ur dreams! the more you stick to your thoughts the more u'll enjoy! |
