Does Sudafed affect you when exercising?

I took sudafd this morning because of my cold and went to school. I have Phys ed around noon time here in south florida. I was sweating so much I became scared. I normally sweat alot being that it is very hot out but today was insane. I could ring my shirt out and make a puddle of sweat. I thought it had to be from the sudafed i took this morning. Can anyone confirm this?

Here are the side effects i looked up for sudafed:

Hyper-reactive individuals may display ephedrine-like reactions such as tachycardia, palpitations, headache, dizziness or nausea. Sympathomimetics have been associated with certain untoward reactions including fear, anxiety, tenseness, restlessness, tremor, weakness, pallor, respiratory difficulty, dysuria, insomnia, hallucinations, convulsions, CNS depression, arrhythmias, and cardiovascular collapse with hypotension.

I'm not a pharmacist, but I know something about drugs (former nurse). Sudafed is a drug that effects the nervous system. Sweating is something that is affected by your nervous system. See how they list all the side effects that have to do with the nervous system like fear, anxiety, tenseness, etc. You sweat when you're nervous, right? It's probable that the Sudafed did cause your profuse sweating. Make sure that when you take medications like Sudafed that you drink a lot of water. I don't see sweating (hyperhidrosis) in the side effects listed. But we're all different. The ones listed are most common.

Its not a good idea to work on Sudafed, you learned.
Some people take it because it increases your heart rate, makes you peppy like speed.
But no joke, some ball players have literally dropped dead because of it. That offenseive lineman for the Vikings, a lineman for Northwestern, also a few years back.
Next time, skip gym when you take it. Be careful!
