What major effects can Thalassaemia Trait do? |
I need to know how to avoid the ill-effects if there are going to be. i just know that I fainted twice and have frequent blackouts that is similar to posturial hypotension, just more serious that can lead to fainting. Fainting would be common in people who have Thalassemia. It's a disorder of the blood that affects the hemoglobin in the blood. Hemoglobin carries oxygen through your blood, and when there isn't enough oxygen getting to your brain, you can feel faint and dizzy. It can not be cured. It could be treated by getting blood transfusions though. I would suggest that you not increase your risks of fainting by staying hydrated and getting enough iron. |
