Is low blood pressure dangerous? |
I just got a fittness exam done today. I am 167cm 5ft 6ins and weigh 53kg (8stone) I have been told according to my body mass index that I only have 6.5 % fat in my body. I was told that it's a good think to be so low. 鈾?It is dangerous to have low blood pressure for many various reasons. However your blood pressure is not low. A normal blood pressure reading is between 110-130/60-80. So you are actually in the perfect range! I wouldn't worry about your blood pressure. Apparently it is haha, I have low blood pressure too and when I was in a science lab class we had to get our blood pressure taken and the teacher couldn't do mine because she said it was sow low that she couldn't measure it. I mean Its better to have low blood pressure than high blood pressure but you can pass out from not having enough oxygen to your brain fast enough..you should be careful with all the sports you do. you could put yourself in danger "Medical Assistant" told you right. My blood pressure ran Your blood pressure is a very healthy blood pressure. Blood pressure has a lot to do with diet, and exercise. As you say you are extremely athletic and this helps to keep your blood pressure low. It can be dangerous to have very low blood pressure too, but yours is a healthy one. |
