Question on high calcium levels?

My boyfriend has had elevated calcium levels in his blood and has been going through various tests and screenings. They tested for cancer in his chest and are currently testing for hypoparathyroidism (sp). At his last doctor visit, the doctor asked him how often he shaved. Anyone know why he asked this?

hypoparathyrodism refers to low metabolism.. the symptoms are lethary and when he shaves, the hair growth is very low, or it dosent grow at all. that's y the doctor asked him how frequent he shaves. u might notice increased pigmentation and baldness of hair as well.
hyperparathydoism is the complete opposite of hypo..
