Hypoglycemia????

Help, what is it?

Hypoglycemia means low blood sugar but theres more to it than that. when someone who dose not have this condition eats, there body relaeses insulin to bring the sugar level back down to a healthy level. when someone has this condition and eats their body releases to much insulin so there blood sugar levels continue to drop below a healthy level. there are alot of symptoms and alot of thinngs you can do to control them if you have and more questions email me (i am hypoglycemic)

low glucose levels..........feel weak and shaky and sweaty...
too much insulin produced

low blood sugar, usually connected to diabetes , although not always

This is the opposite of diabetes where your body produces too much insulin.

Hypoglycemia is every condition that plasma glucose level is below 80 mg/dL with symptoms of hypoglycemia; dizziness, syncope, consciousness deterioration, pareses, etc. Or Plasma glucose lower than 60 mg/dL. The causes is vary, from a high restricted diet, to an oral hypoglycemic drugs abuse (in diabetes patient). Also some endocrine neoplasm such as Insulinoma. The treatment is based to the cause of hypoglycemia.
