If you have hypoglycemia?

If you have hypoglycemia is it normal to be pale most of the time? How can i prevent being pale when my natural skin color is tan?

p.s my hypoglycemia isnt that bad, i dont need to take insuline or anything..

no it is all yr round that i look sorta pale, i dont like extremely white its just that sometimes i look pale then my color changes its weird, but i guess ill see if i can get myself checked

Hypoglycemia is a lack of sugar in the blood, and has nothing to do with you being pale all the time. It is also not something you would take insulin for... that is diabetes, which generally results in an overabundance of sugar in the blood. If you take too much insulin, take your insulin and don't eat or certain other problems, it can result in a hypoglycemic crisis known as insulin shock - which can be fatal if not treated quickly.
Pale skin can be caused by many things including hypoxia, anemia, shock and the onset of many illnesses. Your best bet is to consult your doctor and if necessary, get some blood work done to determine the cause.

Hypoglycemia does not make you appear pale all the time. You need to be tested for anemia. See a doctor and have some blood work done, you can ask him about hypoglycemia when you are there. Good luck.

Mine isn't bad either. The only time my skin goes pale is when it is low or continues to be at a low. Are you checking yourself regularly? You should even if you feel fine.

Also, it is the winter months, did you lighten up a bit from being indoors more than in the summer? Just an after thought.

Hypoglycemia doesn't make your skin pale. I would have a check-up with your doc to make sure everything is o.k. in your body. It would be difficult to determine what's going on with you.
