Hypoglycemia food?

I am pretty sure I have hypoglycemia(the blood test hasn't come back yet). I am going to have to go to school on Monday. My doctor says I should eat every 2 hours. At school there are several times where I go 2 hours between lunch and being out of school. What do I need to do? Should I bring food around with me? What should I tell the school nurse?

O yea by the way, eating alot will not hurt me I am 12 years old and i have a high matabalism (is that how you spell it?)
I'm really worried about what to tell the nurse and my teachers.

carry apples ,, granola bars .. juice .. or any fruit .. it should help...

Is it Hyper, or Hypoglycemia? there is a big difference.
If you have the type where your pancreas creates too much insulin and then your blood sugar drops low and you get the shakes, then the following information is for you.

Your body is reacting to too much sugar in your bloodstream. This is caused by eating foods that are high in carbohydrates and sugars. For me, if I eat a bowl of Cheerios's, even without sugar on it, I will have the shakes two hours later. Wheat, cereals, grains, bread, and pasta all turn to sugar in the bloodstream. That makes your pancreas release too much insulin. You then get the shakes and almost pass out.

How do you fight it? I've been doing the "eating every two hours" thing for years, until I got to 330 pounds. I then went on a "low carb" diet. I eat scrabbled eggs for breakfast with bacon. I eat chicken or steak for lunch and have a salad. I've lost 60 pounds and I have NOT had the shakes once.

If you do not give your body those unhealthy sugars, then you pancreas will not over react and produce too much insulin and give you the shakes.

Since it is the weekend. Tomorrow morning, have eggs and bacon for breakfast, and meat, cheese, salad for lunch and supper. Keep your intake of carbohydrates under 22 carbs and I promise, you will not get the shakes once.

Then it is easy to have breakfast and then not worry about having to eat at school until lunch.

your parents need to contact the school, your teachers, and the nurse. Yes, you need to have food on you at all times. Your school has a responsibility to keep you safe and if it is what you need then you have to have it!
