Hypoglycemia in children?

my 3 yr old daughter is getting tested for hypoglycemia, she has to go on a high carbohydrate diet has anyone got any ideas on any meals for her that have high carb

i have a daughter with diabetes and she's on a low carb diet. her dietician gave us a book that has literally every food and drink under the sun and how many carbs it has in it. pasta's, potatos, and corn, peas, and such are high in carbs and should be included in almost every meal. oatmeal is a great souce of carbs for breakfast and throw in a banana and you're set! and dont worry about them gettin fat, cuz they are burning the carbs as quick as they are getting them!

Pasta with sauces, potatos with fillings.

Good luck with this condition. Your daughter will be happy at times, because she gets to carry around lollies!

Try to stick to good carbs, ones that will fuel the body over a longer time rather than giving a short hit of sugars.

I would also seek an opinion from a homoeopath or naturopath as there a lot of herbs which will be of great benefit.

A high carb diet could well result in weight problems later in life. I know of a child who is hyperglycemic and his mother supplements a regular diet with corn starch at regular intervals to keep the sugars up.
