What are the chances that the child takes up hyperthyroidism from the mother?

i am 25 yrs old. shll be married within a few mnths. i am suffering frm hyperthyroidism. i wanted to know that are there any chances that my child too suffer frm this same problem.

yes it's hereditary. My uncle had it, along with 2 of his daughters and now I have it.

none...it's not hereditary transmissible

I have hyperthyroidism as well. My Dr said it IS hereditary but SKIPS a generation. For instance...my G'Ma had it, not my parents.
More common in women than men.

Hope this helps.
