Will Androgel fix my hypertension?

My blood pressure is in the hypertension range, but my doc said that my testosterone levels were also low, and prescribed me Androgel. Will getting my t-levels back to normal also help with my hypertension?

Hypertension is not usually treated with testosterone, so I would say it will probably have no effect. Lose weight and exercise. That will lower your blood pressure.

I had high BP for 30 years. Lost 60 lbs through exercise and got off almost all my BP meds. Now my pressure is low. I continue to exercise.
