What is the best homeopathic cure for hypertension?

When the doctor first put me on hypertension medication, I was having strange side effects. He put me on 2 x 50mg of Toperal each day. I kept waking up with erections, that would not seem to go away. I would also get light headed when I got one. Yes, everything worked, and I could still have sex, but just didn鈥檛 鈥渇eel鈥?right. I don鈥檛 know how to explain it. I don鈥檛 take any other medications of any kind.

The doctor put me on 160mg Dorian, 5mg Novasec, and 25mg Toperal (minimum dosages). I have no side effects except for insomnia. I am wondering if the insomnia is not caused by the Toperal.

Has anyone had success with any homeopathic remedies? I have tried using melatonin, but it gives me heartburn right after I take it.

What do you think of serotonin? Will that help me sleep? Maybe if I can sleep the Hypertension will go away? Also I suffer from allergies, but nothing works. Is there a connection?

I don't think I would like Atenolol.

Now that I am taking only 25mg of Toperol, I have a normal erections again. The Norvasec, and Dovian have no sexual side effects.

I just don't sleep like I should. The doctor can't seem to fix that.

I;ve only been taking meds for 2 1/2 years. Atenolol, Enalapril, Norvasc, and now just ExForge. I think Atenolol is the nastiest, but anyway, ever since i started, I've only been able to take 1- 1 1/2 hr.naps. I'm retired so it's OK, but If you've a job to go to it's bad news. Also, I learned a lesson: it;s OK to fire doctors. Some of these guys just don't care. One more pill, and another, and another. I wonder why they just don't get a push cart and a big umbrella from "Ciba-Geighy"

There is no cure for hypertension. Homeopathy is utterly worthless; the reason the FDA doesn't outlaw it is that the homeopathic "remedies" are completely without effect.

Diet and exercise are the key. I take Atenolol and it stops erections!

Please consult a doctor. Don't let the insomnia linger. And don't you self medicate.
