My mother is very ill with COPD/emphysema and just went back to the hospital today. We will want to bring her home from the hospital when she is stable, and we need more help with her home care. Brother taking care of her,but needs relief. We hav an aide come in once/week for respite care relief but really need at least one full day off. Can we get hospice care for her at home? Yes you can get hospice care for home. If she is still in the hospital talk to the social worker asigned to her case. They will give you all the information you need.
