It has been said that after After two years, however, irregularity in your period could signal a hormonal imbalance.does that mean an excess of hormones or a need of hormones? please only answer if you are sure of your answer. Thanks

It could be either. An increase or decrease in certain horomones can cause a delayed/irregular period.

It's best to speak with your Dr., who can check for these imbalances and prescribe meds. to get them back on track.
