Can hypnosis cure the homosexuality? because I have seen some Patiences are cured of some illnesses?

soo can the hipnosis to cure the homosexuality? to stop that feeling or work for some things.. but not for it.

I'm a Psychologist, and have published books on hypnosis too.

Homosexuality is not an 'illness', it is a natural part of who some people are, and people are healthiest when they accept themselves unconditionally.

Hypnosis is effective as it can help align our unconscious and conscious 'parts' of our mind (there's no separate part of course), to help work towards a fixed outcome. It does not work where this is against the person's interest, motivation or, for example, something that is innately within someone. You can't change skin color from black to white via hypnosis, for example.

So, let people be themselves and accept them for who they are. If this is you, aim to understand what you need to be more satisfied and happier in life. If you set yourself up to fail, then it will invariably happen.

homosexuality IS NOT a disease. It is a sexual orientation. A person who is gay can no more be cured of it than a heterosexual can be made homosexual!!! I can't believe people still believe things like this. btw I'm straight and married with a 13 yo daughter (in case you were wondering).

There cant be a cure for something that isn't an illness or disease. Homosexuality isn't a sickness or disease. Nothing can "cure" homosexuality. There is nothing wrong with a person who is a homosexual. Nothing can stop the sexual feelings of a homosexual. There is nothing to be ashamed of for being gay. Gay people are a lot of fun. My best friend is gay. We have been best friends since freshman year in high school and we are best friends now and we are juniors in college. He was one of the most popular kids in high school.

Being homosexual isnt a disease so there is nothing to cure. You either like the opposite sex or you like the same sex. Nothing more nothing less.

Why don't you go to one of those Christian campground things where they can "cure" your homosexuality. If it doesn't work, which it probably won't, at least you get to camp with a bunch of other gay guys! You might meet somebody!

You can't "cure" something that is natural or who a person naturally is. You can, however, work on hate and prejudice.

Homosexuality, like any mental disorder can be treated and in most cases cured.

Homosexually is a genetic condition. You are born with it. Nothing can be done to change that situation. You have to learn to live with homosexuality as well as the rest of the world needs to.

So can stupidity. But you have to want to cure it.

Like it has been said already, you can't "cure" it, because it's not a disease. Also, those so called "cured" people are just denying their true feelings. There's a lot of research on it, and it simply doesn't work.

You love who you love and you can't change that. You can't help what you feel.
I suggest finding someone to talk to who won't tell you that you are sick. You don't have the flu, for Christ's sake.

No. Nothing can cure somebody's sexuality. It isn't something to be cured. There is nothing wrong with a person's sexuality. It is part of them....like having brown eyes.
