I still have troubles with my mother about my homosexuality? |
I still have troubles with my mother about my homosexuality? I still suffering anxiety about that.. I feel so bad and angry with my mother she told me she accepted me now she changes her point of view the physcologist told her the envioriment made me gay I was not born as gay I'm sure that you can understand in some way how your mother and aunt feel. They are confused and cannot accept your homosexuality right now. The best thing you can do is to forgive them for hurting you. They are not doing it on purpose. They love you and want the best for your life, and they are fearful of your being gay. Eventually they will accept you for yourself. Be strong and hang in there! Listen you are who you are and who gives a FUUUUCk what people say. If they can't understand, then they can't. It's not their fault. This is how they were raised. If they can't put themselves in your shoes, you put yourself in their shoes. Be strong because YOU CAN DO IT!!! It also takes time for you to accept your parents as they are. My grandparents are like that, but over MANY years I have learned and and accepted that they don't know any better. Adios. |
