Is homosexuality a mental condition or hereditary condition?

Neither. It is simply someone's preference. And thinking that it is hereditary and that they would have been "extinct" implies that they are a different species of people. People are people, and love is love. That is the way it is.

thats very true...it is said that people are born being homosexual..but you really never know, i mean honestly are you going to take a 1 year old and tell him to choose, boy or girl?? of course not, i feel that when somone is attracted to someone in their gender, that is when you are homosexual....when you are turned on by the same gender

Mental there are tons of guys who are girly but are not gay. it's a choice not an illness which most people treat it as an illness.

I think it is neither or more like a little bit of both. I disagree that if it were hereditary they would have been extinct along time ago because genetically we can carry a gene with out possesing it's trates.

Its natural. Its not a choice. However due to social pressures some people choose to not come open.

its actually both...scienctis have discovered in the DNA that one missing piece from the strand make us gay or not...or even ape or not

it's a mental condition...I really feel that homosexuality comes from a fear or hurt stemming from the opposite sex. So, to hide from that fear or hurt a person turns to the "safer side" their own sex.

That is not a normal situation, btw. Homosexual behavior is normal and seen in a great variety of living creatures. Throughout human history, most homosexuals were normal people. Normal people who simply had a preference for same sex intercourse and/or relationships.

Not so today. Ever since world war II, the population of "homosexuals" has grown quite large and ever more deviant. Drug use, EXTREME promiscuity (hundreds of sexual contacts being typical), depravity, drug use, violence. The list goes on and on. It's these other things that make "homosexuals" deviant, not gay sex. A large percentage of this population is actually the prison population, which freely mixes and interacts with gay people on the outside. Normal people simply don't cruising for sexual partners who just got out of jail for violent crime.

I think the vast majority or "homosexual" people aren't gay at all. They are simply disturbed people who choose homosexual sex as part of a greater pattern of perversion. The number of actual homosexuals is the same as it has always been. Those people are relatively normal, decent folk who form normal relationships....just with members of the same sex. One can only imagine what they have to go through to find a decent, normal person as a partner.
