Is homosexuality a mental, hormonal, or genetic disease?

is it even a disease at all? Please, i need scientific answers and i would prefer that you answer scientifically with an educated explanation for your answer.

It is definitely NOT a disease.

I can say this I think just because it is soooo socially accepted these days there are alot of people who are trying to be gay, it is cool or they think it is. This is a MENTAL issue. Then there are the people who are gay. They are either hormonally or chemically imbalanced. Not genetic but still a physical problem. I am a christian and the bible goes back to Adam and Eve NOT Adam and Adam or Eve and Eve. Many people feel the same as I do but are afraid to say it because we must all speak only political correctness's these days, and like I said being gay is a social thing and they are a minority and blah blah blah.
Are there GAY animals???? If you were a dog breeder, it would be tough to carry a breed standard with two male dogs, enough said.

I don't think it's a disease, or genetic, idk, but when you are a baby, you go thru, stages of developement, where you put things in your mouth, but I'v never heard of any baby wanting to put things up they @ss

many studies have been done showing that genetics plays a role in someone's sexuality. It's not like people wake up and decide to be gay, or "catch" their homosexuality from strangers on the subway.

Its not a disease at all. Being a disease would be to have a pathogenic illness which causes physical breakdown of an affected area. Being homosexual, while the reasons for it are very controversial, is simply a way of life. Although many do believe that it is chemical, there are no genes, DNA, or cells within the body that have a homosexual signature.

That leaves the belief systems of being chosen by the individual, or learned by way of parents or environment. Again, there is no scientific way of knowing why or how someone is a homosexual.

Again, it is certainly not a disease.
