Just because you are homosexual does not mean you are destine for AIDS. Just like heterosexuals you have to be cautious and aware of who your sexual partners are. Stay protected and choosy about who you sleep with.

AIDS doesn't know what sexuality is. Anyone can be infected if they don't practice safe sex or if they share needles. And there are plenty of heterosexuals that are HIV carriers. It is not a "gay person's disease."

If neither partner has AIDS then there is no chance of catching it through intercourse. If one partner does then there is a slightly higher chance or catching it through homosexual activity than heterosexual activity.

Unless you are 110% sure that your partner has an infectious decease you should always wear protection.

No. Unsafe intercourse or other body fluid-sharing with an HIV-positive person, no matter the gender of either person, will most likely result in AIDS. Being gay will not. Nor will having homosexual sex. I think the risk of infection is slightly higher when the semen is absorbed through the rectum, but this can happen in heterosexual couples having anal sex too. It's sharing needles or sleeping around minus a condom that spreads HIV.
