You can also contract HIV/AIDS through needle sharing (Primarily seen with drug usage), Blood transfusion (Though extremely rare now), and several other ways where there is bodily fluids transferred from an infected person to someone else. While HIV/AIDS is most frequently seen as an STD, it is contracted in other ways as well.

- with male homosexuality... ok, the act is in the rectum. the rectum is not as ellastic as the vagina is, so eventually there were places that were rubbed raw, which made easier infection. Not that vaginal sex is all that safe... if unprotected. But people tend to have unprotected anal sex more often than unprotected vaginal.
