Homeopathy... does it really work?

i have been on homeopathic treatment for eczema for over 6 months, but i have only become worse.
does homeopathy really work?
it doesnt seem to work for me. and isnt it supposed to get better or at least show signs of improvement by now?

it depends on how long your sing it andhow much your using. becuz they use substances that are aimed to show similar symptoms of the disease it may be your having adverse effects. i don't know what to suggest to you except to wait for a few more days and if it still hasn't helped then go to your doctor and ask for something else. but if you think it will help then it will. it's all in the mind. but here'ssome extra info on the subject.

all in the mind

not everything works for everybody. you have given this adequate time to work see a Dr

I agree with Chris. 6 months and no results? Time to see a doctor, a dermatologist if you can. Good luck.

Sometimes different treatments don't work for some people. You should have seen some results by now. Before rushing off to the doctor check out the following website - lots of interesting information. :-)

Yes it can work. I don't know what treatment you are trying, that possible treatment may not work for you. First, you should be taking a good basic vitamin such as centrum since eczema can be aggravated by vitamin deficiency. Second , stop eating or drinking anything with aspartamane (equal sugar substitute). It has been shone to cause some skin problems. Third, eat some yogurt with live cultures (yoplait). There is a chemical imbalance in your body that is either causing or aggravating your problem. Fourth,Try applying Selsun blue shampoo to the affected areas and leave it on your skin for about 15 minutes then wash off. Do this 2 or 3 times a day. If after doing all of this faithfully for a month and it doesn't help then go see a dermatologist.

Some people swear by it,but honestly homeopathic treatements have never worked for me.
