I have lumps on my armpits and groin but they are very small and not painful, is this a symptom of Hodgkin's? |
The lumps/bumps are really really really small, it's not even noticeable. It also appears that the lumps are just under the skin and not attached to the tissue. They are quite numerous especially in the armpits, not so much in the groin. It actually looks like that the bumps are increasing in numbers. The lumps/bumps are not painful which is the case with Hodgkin's disease. I'm just curious if this bumps are consistent with the symptoms of Hodgkin's disease. Also, what exactly does a swollen lymph gland really look like with Hodgkin's disease? Thanks Gray_Seraphim. 8 cm long?! 2-3 cm wide?! Mine is approximately .1-.2 cm. It's also circular, more like a bead inside my skin. Very very small. First of all don't panic, swollen lymph nodes can be attributed to lots of things but most commonly to infections. Only a doctor can accurately tell you this. See yours soon, please. It is possible. However swollen lymph glands i thsoe areas could be an indication of a mirad of things, sometiems even perfume can cause that kind of reaction. Your lymph nodes are there to filter out disease of all sorts so it could be anything. You have to go and get it checked out. Check w/ your doctor, of course. So many people are finding good results with lumps, bumps, and all sorts of concerns, when they detoxify their bodies. See an MD, see an Endocrinologist, get a proper diagnose and don't play roulette with your future. It could be "no big deal". If it's a problem, deal with it. PS, I've had Cancer three times....today I'll do whatever the hell I feel like doing, and I'll have fun doing it. You will to. F*^#@ Cancer. Very doubtful. Some groups should large and growing. I had Hodgkin's 23 years ago--if you have an entire group of swollen nodes, it's probably not Hodgkin's. That being said, it's very likely your body is fighting off some other type of infection. That's what they do--they swell when they are fighting infection. |
