Hives?????? |
is it common to get hives on you skin when you have a cast on? my mom is calling my foot doctor, jjust so you knoww.. It is common to get really irritated skin from the cast. And now that you probably have some muscle atrophy from wearing the cast for awhile you are noticing it more because your leg is able to move just a little. You may notice the skin to get a little flakey too. Sorry you will probably have this problem until you get the cast removed for good. You could try some benadryl though and see if you notice the itching to calm down. Not sure what kind or how extensive your surgery was but they will probably renew your cast at some point. It will feel so good to get some fresh air on it. Something to look forward too!...until they cast it again. Ask your doctor when he calls you back and see if they will let you put some baby powder inside the cast it might help you a little. probably allergies, i get them when i eat raw seafood. I don't think that is normal. I think you should go to the doctor. You're allergic to something. |
