Hives-After just having a baby I have broke out in hives all over. What can I use while nursing the baby? |
My hives are very large and I have had them for over a week. I have not tried any new products as far as soaps, perfumes, or food. My doctor said they should go away but did not prescribe anything for them. Is there any natural cures for the hives or anything that will not harm the baby? Same thing happened to my stepmother after the birth of my little brother. I'd ask a pharamcist to point you in the right direction or even a dermatologist. *honestly i do not remember the exact name of the stuff my stepmother used but it was perfectly fine for her to breastfeed on it* Tyr some hydrocortisone cream It could be stress related problem. Just try to relax and give your self a time. Hopefully it will go away. The same thing happened to me after I had my son. I would still check with your doctor, but I used hemorroid cream. They stop the itching and take down the swelling. But like I said check with your dr. or the baby's dr. when it happend to me it was almost 13 yrs ago and things change quickly when it comes to this kind of stuff. |
