Do Hives and pain in the feet have anything in common?? |
As I said before my daughter has had hives for the first time (she is 8 years old) and she has had them for almost 4 weeks....the first week was the worst they were all over her body, itching and swelling. I took her to the hospital immediatley they put her on steroids(for a week) and benedryl and it helped. She no longer is on the steroids (or benedryl unless they reoccur) Since then they have been coming one day with some very small hives and hardly no itching and gone right away and then may not come back for a couple of days....off and on like that. So It seems as if they are slowly going away like the doctor said it would because it has been about 5 days since she has had any hives, but today she had a pain on the bottom of her foot....she had no hives at the time and her foot appeared normal....she said it was hurting inside.....am i over reacting or could this be something due to the hives?? Hi,if your daughter was going through what I get, the itching on the bottom of the feet is intense and painful, I've been known to use a boot scraper at times just to get some relief. After a lot of experimentation and through no help of the medical communtiy, I found that I was having reactions to foods, with soy in particular, you might want to think about food allergies... Hope this helps, Good Luck! |
