Hives on my hands, ALL THE TIME???

I am constantly getting hives on my hands and wrists, palms included.

I am trying to pinpoint which soap, lotions, clothes etc it could be coming from, but nothing seems to be consistantly causing this each time I use or wear it.

My hands get very itchy, then pop hives in a few random places. Then go away after about an hour. This happens anywhere from once every other day- to 3-4 times a day sometimes.

Is this a disease? Obviously- I should go to a Dr. But I have to wait until after New Years for more time off from work. It doesn't seem life threatening, so I don't feel I need to run to the Dr.

PS My breathing remains normal.

It may be that you are sensitive to all the different cosmetic lotions and soaps out there. Most of them (95%) are loaded with chemicals that could kill bacterial cultures. If you don't believe me, check out this cosmetic database, and put in the things you've been using from creams, lotions, soaps etc. The safest thing to use is olive oil soap in bars, or pure (organic) coconut oil, virgin olive oil as moisturizers on the outside and inside (eat it).

Sorry to say, but we live in a toxic world, our clothes, laundry detergents, soaps, cleaners (all toxic chemicals). For cleaning, I would recommend methodhome.com as their cleaners do not kill your hand but cleans the sink, tub and tiles etc. You should address this problem while it's still in the not-so-dangerous stage (your breathing is not affected).
