Allergic reaction with hives to Sunny Delight - Strawberry Orange Juice?

Has anyone had a hive break out or allergic reaction to the Sunny Delight flavor Strawberry Orange? One of my co-workers' sons broke out into Hives and she believes it is from this particular juice.

I broke out into hives from an allergic reaction to Fruit Works' Pink Lemonade and am wondering if this is similar?

A lot of children can be allergic to strawberry's. She should have him tested.

EWWW!!! Sunny D is NASTY!!! Leave the stuff alone and you won't be getting ill!!!

It is most likely the strawberry juice, if there is real strawberry in it (it could be artificial). Many people are allergic to strawberries, but being allergic to oranges is very rare. Or, it could be a preseervative in the juices, but that would be extremely rare. Check the ingredient statements!

My daughter gets the worst hives from Juicy Juice...The red dye in a lot of these juices causes people to break out in hives...

My sister is allergic to most citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, limes, pineapples, etc.), so it could be something like that as well.
Although if she is only getting it when she drinks Sunny D, then it is unlikely. But I just wanted to throw that thought out there, just in case.
