Random hives?

I had hives once when I was in 2nd grade and it was a reaction to strawberries.
On Sunday I had a patch of hives on my arm, but I took some allergy medicine and they went away after a couple of hours. I have no idea what caused that.
Today I was talking on the phone and felt itchy, looked in the mirror and relized my right cheek had hives. A few minutes later my left cheek, and now some spots on my arms.
I have a few important things that I cannot miss tomorrow, will my hives go away by then?
Why am I suddenly reacting? I'm sixteen and never had such a problem.

now they're on my stomach.
I read that they can be caused by pressure, is that why they appeared on my cheeks while talking on the phone?

Hives can run in 7 year cycles. (7 years on then 7 years off) Hives usually take about 12-24 hours to subside. Try Benadryl every 4-6 hours. However, Benadryl can make you very drowsy. If the hives persist you should see a physician. It may be a food allergy developing. Our bodies change over time. At 16 your metabolism may be changing.
You may be developing allergies to foods or lotions that you've used in the past with no reactions. I too have suffered with hives off and on for 22 years now. I wish you more luck than I've had.

it could be a reaction to the food...also maybe an insect bit you.
