Are hives a common symptom of hiv?..kind of long..?

Okay four months ago I slept with someone with a condom..we started without for maybe 30 seconds and i said stop..in less we use a condom. He did give me oral for maybe about a minute before we started as well. Now we were camping. We were on top of a houseboat in an air mattress that had been there for about three days day and night..anyway the next day we both got hives..about three or four. Hiv crossed my mind but he said he got tested and swears he is negative. But he did sleep with someone before me I believe...okay four months later I got a canker sore in my mouth on my left cheek..scares me that it is hiv? ( i did go get another hiv test in sep right after incident and it was neg) the canker sore did go away in six days &I just started ortho tri cyclen low, r they common to get with bc? Also I am hpv high risk& already had cyrosurgery 6months ago but its still low grade squamous..why isnt it clearing up, do i have hiv? im still getting another blood test.but im extremely scared

I have only slept with one other person after him...and he is the love of my life and knows about this. We have always used protection...point being im done with anybody else..but is it possible for both of use to get hives at same time? is that common for hiv?

God yes you need to be tested right away. Now it can take up to 6 years so just don't rely on one test but get tested every 6 months.

Initially, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) may exhibit few symptoms other than a brief illness that resembles the flu. This usually occurs two to six weeks after becoming infected, and includes:

Fever
Headache
Sore throat
Swollen lymph nodes
Rash

You need to stop having sex before your married or you probably will end up with a std. I sounds to me that your ok. Im sure your fine just keep your pants on in the future.

your hives the next day were probably bug bites from doing it outside near a body of water.

HIV symptoms in the first stages are nearly unnoticeable and more like a cold/flu typically. If it worries you, then talk to the person who is testing you. Don't be embarrassed, that's his/her job. We've heard it all.

Just to be safe, you might want to abstain from any sexual activity for 3 months and go get another HIV test. There is a window period with HIV. Once you become infected you can immediately infect others, but it can take up to 3 months for a test to come back positive, because it takes that long for your body to begin fighting off the disease and producing antibodies.

If you were one of the rare people to get symptoms of early hiv, you would get them a week to three weeks after infection, not overnight. If you took a test after the encounter ( as long as it was at least 6wks after) your negative would be a good indicator that you do not have hiv. And a sore on your lip would not be a sign of hiv.
