Total Hip Replacement -Both sides - Should I travel to India for this?

I am planning to get the Total Hip Replacement -Both sides in India. I have been tired of trying to get it in the NHS. The cost is supposed to be very low in India and I have heard the Hospitals are good.

When I saw what I thought was the first of your questions, I thought you were asking a genuine question, but when we check your others, it seems that EITHER you're doing a survey for an Indian Doctor promoting his hospital in somewhere like Delhi OR you're falling apart to the extent that ALL OF YOUR BODY PARTS NEED REPLACING.

Which is it I wonder...............

Na i wouldn't do it. there's been way to many news reports about getting surgery in different country just cause its cheaper, wher ppl have died or had bad complications. Even if u've heard good things...i just wouldn't chance it. I was thinking of getting lasik done in a different country just cause it was cheaper...the i remembered the old saying " you get what you pay for" when it comes to surgeries just pay a decent amount, not the cheapest!!!

I've no idea.....but don't complain if you come back with two left feet.

A few minutes ago u wanted only one side. It seems ur joints are deteriorating very fast. Be careful about other joints as well.

i thought you wanted a knee replacement....same still applies..watch out for post op infection over there

total hip replacement is an elective procedure. that type of surgical procedure is quite expensive. you can assess where hospital you wanted to go. you cose india..so be it. i understand and it is a wise idea to collect some informations regarding the fees of the procedure and about the hospital as well where you wanted to be operated. you can! just bring along with you somebody that will assis you in every needs peri-operatively( before, during, and after the procedure).
goodluck for the said procedure.
God be with you.

of course yes, you get best of treatment with best of implants and best of expertise here with a minimal cost
you are welcome to visit our hospital website www.bodeligeneralhospital.com for more details.

My aunt had it done three times and no she doesn't have three legs. it was so long ago that the metals in her thigh moved so it had to be replaced. No unless you had it done before don't do it. If anything you might want to recuperate here comfortably. That is major surgery moving around may Delay healing process.Plus you lose a lot of blood.

Like somebody else here today I'm awfully worried as to why you want to travel to India to have all this surgery.....

I'm really worried about the fascination you appear to have with going to India for operations which can be carried out perfectly well in the UK. All this business about "Cost is very low" and "hospitals are good" intrigues me - why tell US unless this is a veiled attempt at advertising.....

Many patients travel from UK, Ireland, and Scotland to get low cost Total Hip Replacement -Both sides in India. One of the most frequently asked questions when considering Total Hip Replacement -Both sides is the price of surgery in India.

But you should consider some other factors as well such as: ---

The reasons for choosing to travel abroad for Total Hip Replacement -Both sides are different for everyone but with lengthy NHS waits and concerns about MRSA advantage of affordable, high quality private healthcare in India, and combining it with a tropical, cultural or relaxing holiday saving thousands of pounds compared with having the treatment done privately in the UK.
