Risks of hip replacement surgery? |
i recently found out that my grandmother is scheduled to have a hip replacement surgery in about a week. i would like to know about the risks of the procedure, and if i should be worried. Risks: No, don't worry. I had hip replacement surgery about eighteen months ago. I stayed in the hospital for a week and two weeks in rehab. My hip hurt for about ten days but, I've had worse surgery's in my life. She'll get through it fine, again don't worry she'll be fine! The risk are the same as with any major surgery and sedation. It usually is ok and no major problems. |
