Why is my ceramic-on-ceramic hip replacement making cracking noises? |
In 2003 I has a ceramic-on-ceramic hip replacement at the age of 29. Recently I've been experiencing alot of cracking noises in my hip without pain, even while driving when I move my foot from the gas petal to the brake petal. I recently had an x-ray taken, and my Doctor said that everything is attached, and in place; no complications. Why is it making this noise? Do I need to worry because the noise started out once in a while now it's all the time. Loud enough for everyone to hear and say what's that? These links point to discussions that include the various "noises" that fake hips might make: |
