Hip Injury? |
I just got hurt in a soccer game, its in my like way upper thigh right before it gets to my hip bone on the front to inside of my leg. My coach said i probably pulled my hip flexor, does this sound right, if so what can i do to help it? Most of the pain occurs when i turn my legs sideways opposed to just walking completly strait. Listen to your coach who should know what is going on. Did you initially use ice for the first three days? Now you should be icing for 10 minutes and heat packing for 15, or as the coach directs you. Your coach is NOT a doctor. See your doctor pronto! Try hot packs then cold.....take Aspirin as indicated or Ibuprofen and stay off your soccer feet for a week or two. If that doesn't help, see a Doctor & check out physical therapy. I've had that and it's really painful! Good luck! Yes, it does sound right but I agree that you should see your doctor quickly...it may have dislocated and popped back into place. Either way, see your doc. |
