How do i tend a hip flexor injury?

my hip flexor really hurts... and i dont know what to do to like help ease pain and possibly take away the pain

Ouch. What were you doing that caused the pain? Jogging? Bike riding? If a certain activity caused the pain then you know you need to change something about it. I was jogging in worn-out shoes and that caused me a lot of hip pain. Whatever it was that caused the pain needs to be stopped.

Regardless, try taking a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug to treat the pain and possible tissue swelling (I.E. Ibuprofen) and don't do anything to aggravate the injury (don't go jogging, biking, climbing a bunch of stairs). Rest your hips as much as possible. Doing some gentle stretching might help if your hip flexor feels tight at all.
