Lower back/hip and butt pain!!!!? |
so, I'm a soccer who plays at least 5 times a week. I first injured my left ankle when I slide tackled someone. I was favoring that left ankle which injured my right knee. When my knee was ok I went back to practice. I was running & my back felt a little irritated, then I took a hard shot with my right foot & my lower back/hip/butt hurt REALLY bad. I can't find 1 point where it hurts just that area! I went to a doctor & he gave me these pills to take for 5 days. After the 5 days I took it easy coming back. I went to a practice & I was fine, but the next practice I started shooting again & it doesn't hurt as much, but I feel like if I keep playing as hard as I do it's going to come right back. I'm going to a chiropractor & my dad (who's a h.s. football coach & knows about injuries) says i just have to stretch. I feel like that isn't enough. PLEASE HELP!!! DO HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THIS COULD BE????? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! it's on my right side! hey! sounds to me like it could be Sciatica. Basically, its when a movement u made, strenuous or not, has caused the Sciatic nerve to get trapped. This can cause a pain which usually orginates in the lower back, and moves its way right down to your ankle. Bending can aggravate it, as well as sports. When i had it, i could hardly walk without limping. if it is on your left side then it might be your sciatic nerve, excruciating when aggravated. or possibly your coccyx. |
