Pain in/around hip area? |
Ive been having pain when I push lightly on my L hip area actually right on the iliac crest bony prominent. Also when I walk, as I step down and put weight on it, it is very umcomfortable, but it seems like it gets worse if I sit for a while then walk, then pain is almost unbearable. Doesnt really hurt much when I lay down on my back and lift my leg up or put it outward, only when I have weight on it. The pain is hard to explain, but almost like a burning, radiating pain. Not sharp or shooting. This had come on a few months ago little by little, and it seems like its getting worse every week. I did not fall nor do I remember doing anything that caused extreme pain all of the sudden or that may have brought on an injury. I know I need to be seen to be diagnosed and treated but I was just wondering if anyone eperienced this or anyone in the medical field ever seen anything like this? Thanks for your time.. You should see a doctor. I know you knew that already I just thought it should be reiterated. It sounds like you could have a bone spur or a pinched nerve. These are very easily fixed and procedures are relatively painless. Another thing that is a little more severe is a type of arthritis, but if it only effects one hip and nothing else then it most likely isn't especially if it is progressing at that rate and came on so suddenly. this is a fun one on which to shoot in the dark: This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. Try out some home remedies. You can also look for information in the web that give you home remedies. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html |
