Helllllpppppp? hip hurts!!!! , foot numb???

My toe started going numb about two weeks ago and has gotten worse as pain in my hip and right buttocks has begun to emerge, I don't think it 's a disc rupture because I do not have lower back pain or lack of mobility. As the pain has grown over the last couple of days I find myself dragging my foot as pain intensifies and the numness has spread.
I do not remember any specific event that caused injury....... It just began to evolve.... what's going on???
this is for a 42 year old male in excelent condition , always physically active

Maybe sciatica or a pinched nerve.
