I'm getting rolfing, and doing pilates to help and injury. If my job is too hard on my body should I quit? |
I'm doing my 5th rolfing session tomorrow and just started pilates for a hip injury that caused pain and tightness in muscles and tendons throughout my lower body and lower back. Rolfing has helped initially. However I do stone masonry for work right now and the lifting is hurting me. Should I keep doing that and start getting massages 3 times a week. Or should I quit my stone masonry job until I'm healthy and do something else for now? I would get another job. Does your company do retraining for another position? I think you should. If you really get hurt you won't be able to work anywhere and have to depend on disability. Your health is more important.. |
