Gaining weight in specific areas.. please answer, especially dieticians/people experienced in health?


i am very skinny, even though i don't have any eating disorders. both my parents were also quite skinny at my age.
i know it's hard to overcome genetics but any info would help --- is there any way which i can make my hips wider and gain a bit of weight on my legs? --- i am a late teen female.

Hey, well u cant control were the fat goes but u could put on some muscle where eva u want, try doin pilates swimming soccer is really good u could even try doin light weights basically the more u work those muscles the bigger they get, don't worry they wont go from zero to massive

Eating foods that are high in calories but also provide optimal nutrition.
Ex: avocados (High in good fats and calories, really good for you)
Whole grain pasta with meat
Protein/Nutrition shakes
Nuts
Yogurt, cottage cheese
Oatmeal with brown sugar and fruit (raisins, thin apple slices)
veggie wraps with lean meat

Eat consistently, many times a day, even if you're not particularly hungry. Get in the habit! This will also allow you to eat a lot of food without feeling stuffed.
The idea is if you're going to be packing on calories you want to eat foods that are good for you.

Do some cardio but 20 minutes is fine, nothing too much)

Lift weights, particularly in the areas where you want to give the appearance of being larger.

try running/walking/climbing up stairs. working those muscles would make them firmer

First off the pill wouldn't work any way..
Second LUNGE'S, I did them every day in the army and got awesome sexy, legs and butt
just stand somewhere where you'll have room take a large step with your right foot band both legs at the knee until your knees almost tough the ground, then continue walking like that for as long as it takes to feel a good burn
(it shouldn't hurt, just a good "worked out" feeling)

Hi, when I was little my mother sent me to my aunt's for a month to fatten me up, she made me a pint of milk a day with an egg and a high energy chocolate or if there is another flavour available ( not just plain chocolate powder, one as I said that is high in energy but also a healthy choice ) to give a nice flavour in it. I had the day to drink it and my mother didn't recognize me as I had flesh on my bones. As others have said eat more carbs but not high fat foods and exercise. The other thing is too you may just be at an age where you will be thin and may suddenly bloom. Not too much sugars either. Good luck
