Anorexic or not?

my mom think iam relly thin a nd i only weight 91 or less my heiight is about 5 feet tall and i look in the miorrir and see my self as fat the school nurse does nothing for me iam scaried i can see my hip bone on both sides and both of my sholder bones and it relly gross every sense the school nurse weighed me i look at my self a s fat and i don't relly tust her she wrote me a note about what i should be eating but iam not going to eat and iam going fast hoping tomorrw but i don't think i can fast during my shift at work , in the note it says that the most important thing in regands to weight is "NOT TO WORRY ' your healthly ,active and sumply have a high metabolic rate- not a disorder

i think you need a doctor ALL THOUGH I'm 5ft and 90 pounds so don't be to scared but I'm also in gymnastics and dance and track it depends if your mom or dad were skinny then you probably would be to. So if your physically active you shouldn't worry but don't think about yourself as FAT gosh lol you are not fat don't worry if you have to go to the doctor do that but i mean its not necessary.

I'm a nurse. There could be something going on with your general health. I would have your mom take you in to see the doctor. Good Luck and hang in there.

If you see yourself as fat when you are thin, and you're not eating...................yeah, that's anorexia.

When you saw the nurse, did you actually tell her you weren't eating and that you think you are fat? If you don't tell her, she can't possibly know. You need to see your doctor and tell them the truth, don't pretend there is nothing wrong when there is. HTH : )

according to your weight, you are around 41.36kg, and 152.4cm.
by using BMI (a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women), your BMI is 17.8, which mean you are in underweight range. but not to worry so much, if you are healthy, no sick, no pain, it should be all right. for your information, i'm underweight too, just like you, my BMI just 17.2, totally thinner than you.

Formula: weight (kg) / [height (m)]2

Calculation: [weight (kg) / height (m) / height (m)]

or

Formula: weight (lb) / [height (in)]2 x 703

Calculation: [weight (lb) / height (in) / height (in)] x 703

Category:
* Underweight = <18.5
* Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
* Overweight = 25-29.9
* Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

symptoms of anorexia:
-even when thin, complaining about being overweight
-not wanting or refusing to eat in public.
-frequent skipping of meals, with excuses for not eating
-dramatic weight loss; refusal to maintain the minimal normal body weight
-and lot more. by the way,
if you don't have those symptoms, which mean you are normal, NORMAL.

i think you are just anxiety. i belief the NOTE, you are healthy, just simply have a high metabolic rate.

so cheer up :)

I've had anorexia for 2 years and its living HELL.
if you dont eat for one day it doesnt mean your all of a sudden anorexic, it takes a couple of months and your period stops too.
you should see a doctor.
