Anybody with hidradenitis suppurativa? |
does anyone other than myslef suffer with hidradenitis suppurativa? i would like to discuss this with people who do. i feel so alone...no one has ever heard of it and i feel like a monster. i dont want to even get into a relationship because if we were to ever get intimate, i would not be able to let him see me like this. if you do suffer with it, please let me know how severe it is and in which areas of your body...im just curious if you do have it, what do you use to control it?? I have never heard of it before but you can find info on the following web sites. I have it.My dermatolagist uses antibiotics they are pretty good at supressing outbreaks if you are good wiht taking a daily pill. Report It Yeah I have it aswell, They sometimes put you on a course of Antibiotics for 3 - 6 months, in my case 1 year. Its difficult because it usually appears in the most horrible places. I suffer as well. Yahoo has a number of Support Groups. I just want to point out that the overuse of antibiotics causes immunity, as well as Pseudotumor Cerebri. I totally understand the relationship thing! I'm ok because mine occurs pretty much in private areas. I wish you pain free days! Report It |
