I had herpes zoster a month ago, pain is gone but i still have been itching on my breast and lesions, why?

the lesions are gone, however brown and reddish marks are not gone, will they dissapear?
i am worried i have developed another condition or is it normal?

Use calamine for itch.
If it persists see a doctor.

I had it before two years and the affected area of skin has not become normal. Probably the colour wont change. I dont remember having itching though.

My uncle had it, btw which is also referred to Shingles, and it can last for a few weeks after the initial outbreak but should go away. However, it lies dormant and can come back.

Don't get around anyone suseptible to getting it such as elderly, sickly, pregnant women, children. It's painful but should go away in time(few weeks). Luckily it sounds like it did not affect your eyes, which could have caused long term problems.
