Herpes Simplex Type II IgG? |
im 31,married & got 2kids,year 2002 at my first pregnancy i take a blood test showing the test report of herpes simplex type II IgG was 4.5.i want to know if i still have it,dangerous? how to cure?bcoz some of they said it will get infections when we having a baby.please answer. BZZT!!! You still have it. Herpes doesn't go away, and it cannot be cured. It is most dangerous when you have a break out, but it can still be transmitted when you don't. It can be triggered by stress, so giving birth may cause it to act up. I am sorry that you are going through this. You indeed have herpes type 2. This is indicated by your results. The herpes simplex virus is not dangerous to you, however, it may be to your child. You have to try to stay healthy. Eat fruits and vegetables and eat less junk food (I know that is hard; you are pregnant). Keep levels of stress low. You have to keep a healthy immune system this way you don't have any outbreaks (or at least fewer outbreaks). Unfortunately, there is no cure for herpes right now. The virus lives on. However, there are supressive medications out there that can reduce and/or prevent outbreaks. If you are having an outbreak at the time of delivery, then the doctor will perform a c-section on you. Good luck and try not to worry too much. Everything will be okay. You still have it. No it is not dangerous. There is no cure for it. The first three answers are correct (there were not any others when I started to write this), but they can give you a Caesarian birth, so do not worry, but you want to keep healthy and not have an outbreak, so chill and have rest and eat well and take vitamins that you ob & gyn recommends, for example, folate. |
