Herpes simplex 1 is there treatment for gential infection? |
Herpes simplex 1 is there treatment for gential infection? Herpes simplex one is the type that produces mouth sores. Herpes Simplex two produces genital sores. You can pass mouth sores to your genitals( and your eyes) but it remains a HS1 infection. There is no cure for either. They can be treated with valtrex or zovirax (or lysine if you prefer the herbal route). These won't stop you from getting outbreaks but it can lessen the frequency, duration or severity of the outbreaks you do get. Valtrex comes in pill form. Zovirax comes in both pill and ointment. Hope this helps. |
